This tightened supply significantly. Buyers who locked in forward contracts secured stock at 2022 prices; spot buyers paid a premium of 35–45%.

Turmeric: Curcumin Content Wins

India's post-harvest processing capacity has expanded significantly — modern sortex machines, grinders, and blending facilities are now available within primary producing regions, reducing the need for destination-country processing.
